Exploring Colors, Shapes, and Numbers Through Play

During our engaging instruction, your child will be introduced to the concepts of colors, shapes, and numbers through song, dance, and storytelling activities. Our teachers will also help them develop their motor skills with coloring, drawing, circle time (an activity when children interact with kids of the same age), and outdoor play for healthy bodies.

After Care Program

A Safe, Enriching End to Your Child’s Day At the Children’s Playhouse, our After Care Program provides a warm, structured, and engaging environment for children after the school day ends. Designed to balance relaxation, learning, and play, our program supports working families while giving children a place to unwind, recharge, and continue growing. With caring teachers and thoughtfully planned activities, your child will feel supported, secure, and excited to stay engaged through the afternoon hours.

Afterschool Program

At the Children’s Playhouse our school-age classroom is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of each child. Our program for children 6 to 12 provides creative, engaging opportunities to expand their minds after their school day. In our afterschool program, your child is free to play with peers to tap into their need for connection. We encourage indoor and outdoor fun to invest in healthy habits and physical activity, which is a great way to keep your child active and learning outside of school hours.

Parents are welcome to take advantage of our after-school program to give their children an engaging experience away from the school routine. From exploring the creative arts, to playing spirited sports, art, or just having fun, our teachers design and implement lessons using developmentally appropriate teaching practices. The teachers use their own experiences in addition to the children’s interests and there's something for everyone. Additionally, we provide the convenience of transportation from schools within our service area.
